About Michael A. Mann
Michael A. Mann, who has been practicing patent law for over 20 years and is the practice group leader and senior member of the Nexsen Pruet Intellectual Property group, is well-versed in all aspects of patent law. He has personally prepared and prosecuted hundreds of patent applications and has supervised associates in the preparation and prosecution of hundreds more, both as owner of his own firm and subsequently as a member of Nexsen Pruet, LLC.
Mr. Mann has a broad technical background including a bachelor's degree in physics, a master's degree in nuclear engineering, plus additional courses in electronics and computer engineering. He has worked as a US Army signal corps officer, a nuclear design engineer and a corporate general counsel for a nuclear waste services company. He is accomplished in handling difficult inventions such as business methods, inventions in multiple technical fields, and those in crowded technical fields.
